Did you know that alcohol is the UK's biggest risk factor for death, ill-health and disability for people aged 15-49?
Dry January is an annual campaign for people to give up alcohol for the month. Even if you haven't signed up to it yet it's never too late to do so and start your own dry month.
Giving up alcohol for a month enables you to take control of your relationship with alcohol and starts you thinking about alcohol: why do we drink it, what does it do, and how can we reduce the harm it can cause?
The benefits of giving up alcohol are numerous and include sleeping better, improvement in appearance of skin, weight loss and saving money!
